Riskline has announced a new partnership with UK-based Travelogix to strengthen Geo, the travel data company’s duty of care platform for Travel Management Companies (TMCs), as global business travel continues its sharp recovery.
Riskline, a global travel risk intelligence provider, processes more than 100,000 data sources to deliver real-time risk assessments worldwide. Its data will now be integrated into Travelogix’s Geo platform, which already offers real-time traveller tracking, risk alerts and security information for TMCs and their corporate clients.
More flexible and granular global risk information
By combining Riskline’s analyst-led intelligence with Geo’s existing data management and reporting tools, the platform will be able to deliver more flexible and granular global risk information, including significantly more precise incident mapping. This improves traveller safety insights and supports more informed decision-making for TMCs and corporate travel managers.
Travelogix will also be able to scale Geo more effectively and accelerate the development of new features on the platform.
The timing of the partnership is strategic. Travelogix plans a series of upgrades to Geo in the near term, including polygon drawing for more accurate risk zoning, pre-trip risk broadcasting, and improved on-trip communication and alerts.
The move comes as demand for travel safety information grows in parallel with the recovery of global business travel. Forecasts project global business travel spending to reach $1.64 trillion USD (£1.25 trillion) in 2025, up from $1.48 trillion USD (£1.13 trillion) in 2024 – an approximate year-on-year rise of 11 percent. At the same time, spending on big-ticket material items such as cars, second homes and jewellery is falling, suggesting consumers are prioritising travel over physical purchases.
Strategic partnership boosts travel safety and business travel services
For travel companies, this shift is driving investment in higher-quality, value-added services, including robust duty of care and accessible safety information for an increasingly tech-savvy traveller base.
Suzanne Sangiovese, CEO at Riskline, said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Travelogix, and to serve more travellers with our real-time safety updates, enabling them to travel with greater confidence. Our latest partnership announcement of the year demonstrates the growing importance of reliable and accessible travel safety information for the modern day traveller as the sector continues its sharp recovery.”
Chris Lewis, Founder and CEO, Travelogix, added: “Our new partnership with Riskline marks a significant step forward in the evolution of Geo. By combining Riskline’s analyst-led intelligence with our connected suite of travel data solutions, we will deliver a more accurate, responsive, and insightful risk platform for our customers; one that will continue to grow and adapt to their needs, just as we innovate across all of our platforms. A huge thank you to Suzanne and the entire team at Riskline for their collaboration and shared vision.”
