Riskline is an intelligence provider focused exclusively on travel. Founded by road warriors who are passionate about safety, Riskline’s leadership has over 45 years of combined expertise in the travel risk and security sector.

Since we formed in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2007 we have sent 480,000 incident alerts, hired expert analysts across 22 countries and helped millions of travellers mitigate risk with personalised solutions.

What We Do

We monitor travel risk intelligence 24/7/365 in 220+ countries and territories and 260+ cities. Our team uses their expertise to verify and contextualise that data, calculating risk levels using our leading system. We then deliver the intelligence in useful, personalised formats through seamless API or embeddable widgets. We provide realtime alerts, in-depth destination risk assessments, travel entry requirements and more.

Our Intelligence

We use proprietary technology that continuously monitors open source intelligence (OSINT) for travel. Every day, our trained analysts review and verify intelligence from hundreds of thousands of sources. The team filters out the noise and reports critical information on breaking incidents and developing crises. Sources include local media, social media, government advisories, law enforcement, emergency services, security forces and disaster relief.

How we Assess Risk

Our leading assessment system is based on internationally recognized risk management best practices. We categorise on-the-ground conditions into five easy-to-understand Risk Levels: Low, Moderate, Medium, High and Extreme. We also offer specific guidance for women and LGBTQ travellers.

Suzanne Sangiovese

CEO

Suzanne has over a decade of experience in the travel industry. As CEO, she drives Riskline’s vision, growth, financial performance and market alignment. Suzanne is the Vice-Chair of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Europe’s Risk Committee and a member of the Women in APIs community. She holds an MSc in International Security and Global Governance from Birkbeck, University of London.

Kennet Nordlien

Founder and Executive Chairman

Kennet founded Riskline in 2007, drawing on over 20 years’ experience in management, entrepreneurship and the security sector. Having consulted for some of Europe’s largest organisations, he gained valuable insight into global risk and mobility. His vision and leadership continue to drive innovation and uphold excellence, ensuring Riskline remains a leading travel risk intelligence company.

Adam Schrader

Director Of Operations

Adam has more than a decade of experience in travel security working with Riskline. Prior to that, he served as an army officer in logistics and planning. He holds an MSc in Comparative Politics (Conflict Studies) from the London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy. Adam currently resides in Senegal.

Dragana Markovic

Head of Global Sales and Marketing

With deep experience in high-growth B2B tech start-ups and scale-ups across the US and Europe, Dragana leads marketing and sales at Riskline, bringing together strategy, go-to-market and revenue mastery. She has driven demand generation, built teams and departments from scratch, and managed complex cross-functional initiatives. Dragana works alongside executive leadership to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
