Travel reporting specialist Travelogix is integrating data from travel risk intelligence company Riskline to enhance its duty of care support for its travel management company customers.
The company’s duty of care tool Geo will now include Riskline’s real-time data to provide “significantly more precise” incident mapping and will enable Travelogix to scale and develop new features within the platform, according to the companies.
“Our new partnership with Riskline marks a significant step forward in the evolution of Geo,” said Travelogix CEO Chris Lewis.
“By combining Riskline’s analyst-led intelligence with our connected suite of travel data solutions, we will deliver a more accurate, responsive and insightful risk platform for our customers; one that will continue to grow and adapt to their needs, just as we innovate across all of our platforms.”
Lewis added the partnership comes at a “strategically important time”, with the company planning to roll out a series of enhancements to Geo “in the near future”. These will include polygon drawing, pre-trip risk broadcasting and improved on-trip communications and alerts, according to the company.
