Travel risk intelligence company Riskline has, today, announced the launch of a new partnership with Tripkicks, a US-based travel tech add-on that provides travelers with insights and guidance to influence traveler behavior. The partnership will aim to provide Tripkicks’ clients with Riskline generated country risk summaries, city safety and country and territory risk reports. Headquartered in Denmark, Riskline is one of the world’s leading travel risk insights companies leveraging AI and professional analysts to process more than 100,000 data sources providing accurate and timely travel risk assessments.

Based in New York, Tripkicks provides an add-on to business travel programs that enables companies with the tools to influence traveler behavior.

Riskline provides high quality intelligence that is human-verified and analyzed, to ensure organizations can quickly respond when an incident occurs. Alerts are organized into seven different risk categories, ensuring organizations receive the most relevant risks to their employees and their location. Riskline also provides detailed data on COVID-19 at a country and regional level. This new partnership will allow Tripkicks to utilize Riskline’s APIs, ensuring Riskline’s intelligence will reach travelers in new ways that may directly impact their travel decisions. The new collaboration further strengthens Riskline’s mission of keeping more travelers informed and updated in an ever-changing and unpredictable world.

Now, more than ever, employees need to prioritize the duty of care to protect their employees when they are traveling for work. Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, employees have a statutory duty to take all reasonably practicable measures to protect workers from risks to their health and safety whilst at work. Despite this, 95 percent of respondents to a recent survey of employers have sent their employees to high-risk locations. However, only one third of respondents stated that they did not know whether they had legal requirements or owed a duty of care when they were abroad. This new partnership will make it easier for more companies and businesses to facilitate a safer trip that ensures employees can protect workers from risks to their health and safety while at work.

Through this latest partnership, more organizations and businesses will be better prepared to provide support to their employees. It will ensure that more employers are equipped to manage risks involved with sending employees overseas and  manage risks more proactively based on staff proximity to at-risk areas.
