Travel management company BCD Travel has announced a new partnership with risk intelligence specialist Riskline to provide enhanced security alerts for clients.
In a statement, the two companies said the deal would provide travel and security managers, as well as their business travellers, with “timely, trusted insights when they need it most” through a unified platform.
BCD will integrate Riskline’s suite of intelligence tools into its travel management platform through risk and real-time alerts with emergency response capabilities.
Jorge Mesa, senior director of travel risk management at BCD, said: “In an increasingly volatile global travel environment, risk mitigation and management are top priorities for BCD.
“Riskline allows us to turn risk intelligence into engaging insights that mitigate risk and drive confidence with travellers and programme stakeholders. This approach prioritises both operational resilience and traveller wellbeing.”
Riskline combines a range of human experts with AI and open-source intelligence in multiple languages to assess risks across the globe.
Suzanne Sangiovese, CEO of Riskline, added: “Travel risk management today requires both speed and substance. We are excited to partner with BCD and to co-deliver a modern suite of risk management solutions that the industry ecosystem needs.”
The partnership will give buyers and travellers access to destination insights, covering subjects such as visa and health entry requirements, travel safety guidance and diversity considerations.
Riskline also provides coverage on demonstrations and unrest, health and medical updates, conflict and terrorism, crime, natural and environmental risks, travel safety and disruptions, and political developments.
