India is likely to respond similarly to any threats or incursions along the LoC.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Conflict between Ukraine and Russia<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Russia and Ukraine are now preparing for a long-term conflict entering the third year of the war. On the Russian side, military spending will increase by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.barrons.com\/news\/russia-to-hike-defence-spending-by-almost-70-percent-in-2024-ministry-ab2c1f19\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">70 percent<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in 2024, and major offensive operations continue despite heavy losses. On the Ukrainian side, the government is showing its determination to retake the territories occupied by Russia.
